University of Freiburg - Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK)

The Department of Microsystems Engineering known as IMTEK belongs to the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg. It covers the whole spectrum of basic research and applied research in microsystems technology. IMTEK currently has 21 professors, about 370 research, teaching, and technical staff, and 550 microsystems engineering students. It is one of the world's largest academic institutions in this field.
