Germany Presents Itself as Supplier for the High-tech Factories of the World at the HANNOVER MESSE

Experts from the US, Europa and Asia agree: Many markets are currently accelerating. That was on the agenda of the „Innovations for Industry“-forum in Hall 6. Karen Lightmann, spokesperson of the US-MEMS Industry Group, reported that the US industry is finally growing significantly more optimistic after a tough downslide. Richard Dixon of iSupply confirmed this with regard to the US-automobile industry. Further rapidly rising markets are consumer electronics and cleantech – everything related to energy efficiency.IVAM board member Dr. Lutz Aschke regards Germany in particular as a major supplier for the high-tech factories of the world.In Hanover, exhibitors and visitors discuss how to strengthen this position.

 

Despite current traffic obstructions all major representatives of the companies arrived in Hanover – exept only a number of eastern companies that could not make it. At the present moment discussions are going on in Hanover on how, for example, energy savings of up to 30 per cent in building system engineering can be achieved by the help of wireless sensor technology. At the MicroNanoTec forum Dr. Uwe Kleinkes presented future trends in micro technology.

 

On today’s agenda, experts talk about the highlight topics micro production and printed electronics. More than 40 companies and institutes exhibit at the IVAM Product Market.Micro optics manufacturer LIMO is present at the special show „laser in microproduction“. Peter Bruns of LIMO is very pleased on monday at the fair: „quality over quantity. I had very specific conversations with interesting customers yesterday”.
